David Bourdon

David Bourdon (October 15, 1934 – March 27, 1998) was an American art critic and writer. Bourdon was a pioneering writer on the Minimalist movement and was deeply active in the avant-garde Manhattan art scene of the early 1960s. He also wrote about the Earth Art movement in the late 1960s and 1970s. Bourdon was a journalist for numerous magazines such as ''Life'', ''Artforum International'', ''Art in America'', ''Arts Magazine'', ''Time'', and ''Vogue''. He wrote books about artists like Christo, Alexander Calder, Niki de Saint-Phalle, and Andy Warhol.
